There’s a new kind of rock-n-roll descending in Los Angeles. It is liken to the hard hitting “slap your mother in the face” day’s of the pre homogenized Sunset Strip.
“Hollywood Rocks”, brainchild of Michael Xavier and Steven Harlow and Justin Syder, will be launching at the world famous Viper Room Monday, September 22, and if you’ve wondered where punk rock and true heavy metal classics have been these last few years, we can tell you. Rock has been smoldering, basting in its own juices, waiting to give birth to a more dangerous, harder edged style of Hollywood promotion. “Hollywood Rocks” is exactly the type of spawn we’ve been craving. A night of hard rock debauchery, the adult industries top shakers (doing what others only dream of in the V.I.P.) sponsored by industry heavyweight “Anabolic Digital” who jumped at the chance to bring their specific brand of porn rock action to the plate, and the launch of a new, melt your face off style of wet t-shirt contest to top off the night. If the “beginning of the week hangover” ever had an official name, Hollywood Rocks is now it.
